Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NCJF) appreciated the bold step taken by chief minister Neiphiu Rio to prepone the date of nation-wide cleanliness drive by one day instead of October 1, 2023, which falls on Sunday.
In a press release, NJCF vice president, Rev. Dr. N. Paphino said the forum was thankful to chief minister for listening to the voice of the church and people in honouring Sunday, the day of worship.
NJCF assured that “we are in prayer for the leadership role you play at this critical and challenging times”.
NJCF said it will look forward to “a working relationship where our identity and faith will be preserved and protected”.
