CM, NPF condole demise of Khekuto Jakha

Neiphiu Rio has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Khekuto Jakha, vice president (Central Office Bearer) of the Naga People’s Front.
In a press release, Rio described the late Jakha as a humble, cheerful, and kind-hearted individual. He noted that Jakha was personally known to him and that they had worked together through various situations over the years. The statement highlighted that Jakha would be fondly remembered for his dedication, sincerity, commitment, and integrity. Rio also acknowledged the profound grief faced by the bereaved family, expressing hope that they would find comfort in cherished memories and strength in the knowledge that Jakha lived a life of purpose and dignity. The release further stated that his passing has created a void that will be difficult to fill, terming it a significant loss to the Naga People’s Front in particular and the Sumi community in general. Rio prayed that Jakha’s noble legacy would continue to inspire many. On behalf of the party, the Chief Minister extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that Almighty God grants them comfort, strength, and solace. He also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
