CM to launch mass social work today

State chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, would launch the ‘State Mass Social Work’ at PHQ Junction, Kohima on September 29, 2018 at 7am.

According to a DIPR, the chief minister after delivering speech at a brief inaugural programme would launch the mass social work, which would culminate on October 2, 2018 coinciding with Swachh Bharat Day 2018.

Govt directive on social work

In connection with the proposed state-wide mass social, the state government has directed all officers and employees of civil secretariat and directorates to ensure that social work was carried out in letter and spirit, not only to their colonies but also in their respective offices.

The government has also directed secretary (SAB) and home department to supervise the social work in the civil secretariat.
