Chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, who is also the chairman of NSDMA will launch the vision based thematic action of Nagaland Disaster Risk Reduction (NDRR) Roadmap on December 1 on the occasion of 61st Statehood Day.
It may be noted that Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, the Nagaland Disaster Risk Reduction (NDRR) Roadmap has been developed with the support of UNICEF. Nagaland Disaster Risk Reduction Roadmap would be implemented by the 33 line departments of the Government of Nagaland from 2023-2030 to achieve the targets of Sendai Framework and Sustainable Goals of the State of Nagaland. The thematic action plans developed by 33 Government line departments will be implemented with the support from the 15% of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme.
