CMA flays alleged attempted rape

DIMAPUR

Chakhesang Mothers Association (CMA) has strongly condemned the alleged attempted rape of one of its members by Hegukha Chophi of Tsutoho Village on September 24.
In a statement issued by CMA president Zhonelu Tunyi, the association appealed to the concerned authorities to ensure safety, legal support, and justice for the victim. It stated that such inhuman acts have no place in society and must be dealt with firmly.
CMA further emphasized the collective responsibility of all stakeholders to uphold the rights and dignity of every individual, and reiterated its commitment to stand against violence and injustice.
