
Christian Model High School (CMHS) Wokha, celebrated its first annual day-cum-little pearls graduation on December 10.
A press release by CMHS Wokha stated that Er. C. R. Murry, DGM (E/M) NEEPCO Doyang and an alumna of CMHS graced the event as guest of honour.
He appreciated the management for the sacrifices and efforts towards bringing the latest curriculum which has been introduced in most of the schools in the state. He also appreciated the hard work and sacrifices of the teaching faculties for holistic development of the children and encouraged the parents to put more efforts in disciplining the children in the right way.
T. Murry, the proprietor of CMHS highlighted the school motto “Truth, Wisdom and Service”, and shared the vision of the founder of the school late E. M Mozhui. He also acknowledged three teachers one each, from higher section, middle section and nursery section for their selfless service and dedication by handing them appreciation certificates.
Administrator Serena Murry presented the little pearls graduation certificate to the seven students and appreciated the talents of the children.
Star of the year from each class starting from nursery up to class 10 were awarded by the guest of honour for their overall performance.
Students on their part entertained the parents with variety of programme ranging from choir, choreography, folk fusion, bollywood dance, mime show, drama etc. Later, mini sales, rock concert, raffle draw etc were conducted and the event concluded with bonfire.
