CMO constitutes DAA & DAC

On the approval of the deputy commissioner and chairman district health society, the chief medical officer (CMO), Mon constituted three member district appropriate authority (DAA) in Mon district under pre-natal diagnosis techniques (PNDT) Amendment Act 2002.   DPRO, Mon informed that the authority would be headed by the CMO Dr. UK. Konyak, and president KNSK Lomei Konyak and APP (Judicial) Temsu as its members. The CMO also constituted district advisory committee (DAC) comprised of Medical Superintendent, DH, Mon Dr. Kechongol Sophie as Chairman, president KNSK Lomei Konyak as member and EAC, Mon Relise Sangtam, as nodal officer under the PDDT Act 2002.
