Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dimapur has directed all hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres and other establishments operating ultrasound machines within Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland district to renew their licence on or before October 31, 2025.
In a notice, CMO Dimapur Dr T Yetovi Tuccu cautioned that failure to comply with the order would invite necessary action as per the provision of the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act 1994 (PC & PNDT Act).
