CMO Mkg organises training on NCD

A two-day training on Non- Communicable Disease(NCD) screening, a national programme for prevention and control of cancer, diabetes, cardio-vascular diseases and stroke, was organised by the office of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Mokokchung on September 20-21 at the Conference Hall, CMO Mokokchung office.
A press release by CMO Mokokchung office stated that the training was organised for Senior Medical Officers (SMOs), Medical Officers (MOs), Ayush MOs, Community Health Officers (CHOs) and nurses.
Delivering the welcome address, CMO Mokokchung, Dr.Limatula Aier urged the health workers to learn from the training and deliver quality health care at their respective health centres.
In a power point presentation, MO(Dental) IMDH, Dr.Sentirenla explained about causes of oral cancer screening and SMO(Medicine) IMDH, Dr.Alemba R Jamir gave a presentation on management of diabetes and its complications while MD(ONG) IMDH, Dr.Subongmeren spoke on breast cancer screening, cervix cancer screening and VIA procedure, benefits and limitations.
