Airport Authority of India (AAI) Dimapur Tuesday donated a fully equipped ambulance (Force Traveller) to the office of chief medical officer (CMO)Dimapur.
The ambulance key was handed over to CMO Dimapur, Dr. K. Vikato Kinimi by director AAI Dimapur, M. Zhimo in the presence of DC Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel.
According to CMO office Dimapur, Dr. K. Vikato Kinimi promised that trained health personnel and technicians would be identified and deputed to make the ambulance fully operational at the earliest. He further said that the ambulance will also be used to give medical coverage to official guests and VIPs invited to the state.
Dr. Kinimi expressed gratitude towards the officials of AAI especially D.K. Kamra, regional executive director, NE Region Guwahati and M. Zhimo, airport director, AAI Dimapur, for the donation. He also thanked former deputy commissioner Kesonyu Yhome, the former airport director Venkat, and Dr. Antoly Suu, deputy CMO for initiating the process.
Other officials who attended the function included Dr. Antoly Suu, Dy CMO, H. Paul, AGM (Finance), S. Amenla Aier, asstt. manager (HR), M. Ponger, AGM (Engg-Elect), Dr. Imtiwabong, DVBO, Dr. C. Tetseo, NTCP, Dr. Rebecca, DPO(UIP/RCH), Dr. Heto, ZLO, Kikolul Khieya, asst. director, UVBDS, Samuel, FSO, and staff under CMO Dimapur.
