Chief Medical Office (CMO) Peren district staff and officials were urged to be more responsible and regular in the monthly review meetings.
Charing the monthly review meeting on December 5 at the Conference Hall, CMO, district headquarters, New Peren, deputy CMO Peren, Dr. Supongmenla, lamented the low attendance during the monthly meetings and warned of penalties being imposed on absentees.
A press release by CMO Peren office stated that the Dr. Supongmenla also highlighted issues like staff irregularity, maintenance, and facilities provided in the health units.
She also reiterated the importance of the monthly meetings for disseminating information to update one another.
In the meeting, DAPCU Peren, program assistant, Pauhaugan, gave a power point presentation on the performance of district AID’s Prevention Control Unit under Peren district.
The presentation indicated various aspects of activities as well as targets and achievements.
The meeting was attended by district program officers, nurses, pharmacist, DAPCU staff, district and block program management unit staff NHM.
Later, a short program was held for Advent Christmas which was chaired by district community mobilizer, Peren, Sekholu Ringa. A Christmas message was delivered by DPO NVBDCP, Dr. Limatula and BPM Athibung, Temsumenla Kipgen; and a vote of thanks was proposed by the deputy CMO.
