Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI) has called for creating special category Inner Line Permit (ILP) for “business visitors and shoppers” in order to do away with certain bottlenecks.
Extending its support to ILP implementation in Dimapur, the confederation however urged the State government to make necessary arrangements to ease the process of issuing ILP for this category of visitors with a maximum validity of one to two days.
And to ease the process for issuing ILP for this category, CNCCI president Dr Khekugha Tuccu and general secretary Dr Seyeville Mor suggested that the government should set up ILP counters at all inter-State check gates, train and bus stations and airport and minimise documentation process to just one photo ID card approved by the government with a nominal fee.
The confederation urged the government to take its suggestion on priority basis and urgency for smooth functioning of the State’s economy.
