Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) has appealed to the responsible department to have “a final sitting” with NFHRCC and the contractors to clarify misunderstanding and misgivings, if any, for the larger interest and well-being of the people without further delay.
CNTC through its media cell acknowledged the state government, stakeholders and civil society organisations for their commitment to addressing the issue of foothill road project in time for the benefit of common people.
The council said that the imbroglio of signing an undertaking between NFHRCC and contractors could dampen the high spirit and expectations of commoners, who were subjected to various inconveniences traversing a long and winding road covering another state, if “pride and prejudices” were not handled with all sensitivity.
