Office of the assistant register of cooperative societies (ARCS) Longleng organised a launching programme of the cooperative marketing pickup trucks financed under Integrated Cooperative Development Project (ICDP) 2020-2021 at DC’s office premises on September 13 with DC and chairmen DLCC, ICDP Longleng, M. Shayung Phom as special guest.
According to a DIPR report, while speaking at the programme, the DC acknowledged the department for providing financial assistance to needy farmers living in rural areas for their economic upliftment. He also advised the beneficiary societies to make good use of the vehicles and to repay the loan on time and urged them to work unitedly for the progress and expansion of the societies
Beneficiaries of the pickup trucks were Yachem village Integrated Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd, and Mongtikang Village Integrated Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd, DIPR infomred.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by DRCS Longleng I. Chume Chang.
