Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon called for a meeting of the district task force (DTF) under BBBP 2019-20 at his official chamber to discuss and work out various planned activities for Beti Bachao Beti Padhao third phase for Wokha district on May 30.
According to DIPR report, DC urged all concerned involved and line departments to fully gear up for the upcoming phase as officials will be visiting Wokha district to observe the activities undertaken under this scheme to be replicated in other states as well.
He also informed all that this time more substantial and long lasting activities will be targeted to show improvement in the implementation of the BBBP.
Manazir also informed during the meeting that more focus will be given at the village level. He appealed to the ASHA, anganwadi workers and schools management committee to be more dedicated and sincere.
SDO (C), Wokha Chonbenthung Ezung who chaired the meeting stated that block level committee is also constituted to carry out the various planned activities within Wokha district.
