College of Veterinary Sciences conducts animal health camp

College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (CoVS&AH) conducted an animal health camp at Peren on July 22.

A press release from the college informed that during the programme, free treatment of domestic animals and vaccination against rabies were carried out.

Meanwhile, the dean of veterinary college Jalukie, Dr. Arun Kumar Sangwan also participated and interacted with animal owners and presidents of Peren town women welfare association and youth organisation along with their office bearers on various health aspects of domestic animals and their welfare.

The programme was coordinated by professor & head VCC Dr. M.G. Jayathangaraj. Dr. Mahesh Singh, Dr. Laltlankimi, Dr. Neithono Kuotsu, Dr. Bhumapati Devi and Akum participated in the animal health camp. A medical camp was also conducted by 36th Assam Rifles.
