Committee asked to verify LAPD projects

Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Angau I Thou, has directed the LAPD Verification Committee to start verification of projects under LAPD 2014-15 by visiting the spot to ensure proper execution of the project.
The DC has issued the directives during the monthly meeting of the Mon District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) on February 15 while she also cautioned that verification committee would be held responsible for any failure in implementing the projects under LADP.
The DC also urged upon the Government employees posted under Mon district to be in their respective place of posting and to retrospect whether they are doing justice to their service or not.  “As a Government servant we have a responsible duty to perform and also to retrospect ourselves whether we are doing justice to our profession or not,” she added.
She informed the heads of the department to submit the list of the Class-I & II Government employees of their respective department to the DC office at the earliest. She also informed that the next DPDB meeting would be held on March 16 and directed the Administration and the Police to give power point presentation of their respective department in the next meeting.
Further, she has thanked the Government officers for their cooperation and support for the successful conduct of the 20th Triennial Convention of NBCC and the Indian Republic Day 2015 celebration in Mon. ADC Tizit informed the house that cultural exchange program organized by the Assam Government would be held at Namtola on February 28. He has invited the officers to attend the program.
