Frontline Ministries (FM), in collaboration with Nagaland Missions Movement (NMM), conducted a community Eye Clinic from October 9 to 11, 2025 at Thanamir and Pungro, providing essential eye care services to residents in remote areas.
The initiative was supported by the Optometry Confederation of India (OCI), whose team of doctors and nurses carried out eye examinations and distributed corrective spectacles to individuals with visual impairments. The programme aimed to address preventable eye conditions and promote awareness on eye health among underserved populations.
At Thanamir, 167 individuals underwent eye check-ups, with 94 receiving spectacles. In Pungro, 81 individuals were treated, and 56 were provided with corrective eyewear.
Nagaland Missions Movement expressed gratitude to OCI for their compassionate service and to Frontline Ministries, led by Rev. Tangit, for spearheading the initiative and ensuring its successful implementation.
