Advisor of Water Resources, Namri Nchang inaugurated Nsong village community hall under Tening sub-division on January 9.
According to DIPR report, Namri Nchang addressing on the occasion encouraged the youths to educate themselves and to go in the right direction. He congratulated the village council for timely completion of community hall construction and urged leaders to be vigilant for developmental activities in their respective regions.
DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier called upon the gathering for self-reliance and local entrepreneurship instead of totally depending on the government. Short speeches were delivered by Azenuo Pienyu, project director of DRDA who highlighted on the importance of community participation and partnership for the execution of public work. Kiengau Nda, block development officer of Tening lauded the hard work rendered in the successful completion of community hall.
Welcome address was delivered by EAC Nsong, Tumben P. Tsanglao in the programme chaired by NYO president, Kedawang.
