Compensation for 220 KV DC line

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel has informed all landowners and beneficiaries affected by construction of the 220 KV D/C Transmission line from Dimapur to Zhadima that compensation for the affected landowners for land will be paid on October 12, 10 a.m. onwards at the DC’s conference hall, Dimapur.

In a press release, the DC has informed landowners and beneficiaries of Seluophe, Singrijan, Khriezephe, Diezephe, Vidima, Shokhuvi, Chumukedima-A, Chumukedima Village, and New Chumukedima to avail the compensation.

The DC has also informed the chairmen, head GBs and members of the concerned village councils to be present in person for identification of landowners and beneficiaries and for issuing NOCs during the distribution of cheques, failing which payment shall be withheld.

All affected landowners and beneficiaries have been directed to come in person along with their identity proof, bank passbook (original and photocopy), passport photo (five copies) etc. The release laid emphasis on the statement that payment to any representative other than the concerned person shall not be entertained.
