Competitions on ‘plastic free Nagaland’

Wokha police organised competitions under the theme, “Plastic Free Nagaland” on July 27 for the children of police personnel studying in different schools in the district.

A DIPR report stated in a keynote address, Superintendent of Police (SP), Wokha, Manoj Kumar advocated for a beautiful and plastic free Police Reserve and urged the participating students to be an ambassador for a plastic free environment. SDPO, Wokha Imkongsangba Jamir highlighted the concept and purpose of the competition.

Mharoni Mozhui, Regimental School (RS), Mercy M Tsopoe (RS) and Lochumbeni C Odyuo (RS) bagged the first, second and third positions respectively in the debate competition. Thechano Ezung (Santsuo School), Epilo M Ngullie (RS) and Zadeno (Don Bosco Higher Secondary School) & Nzanbeni (RS) won the award in the essay competition; in the painting competition Nongo A Odyuo (RS, Lithungo Humtsoe (RS) and Lansothung (RS) received the first, second and third respectively.
