Condemnations on alleged murders

Pyangao Tsorieden Ekhung (PTE), late Abon Logwenga siblings and Chakhesang Hoho Kohima (CHK) have condemned the alleged murder incidents took place in Tseminyu and Kohima on January 7, 2023 and December 24, 2022.
PTE: Pyangao Tsorieden Ekhung (PTE) has strongly condemned the alleged murder of Lucy (Terilo) allegedly by her husband Logvusen Kent on January 7 at Tseminyu village. In a condolence note, PTE appealed to the concern authority to not grant bail to the accused and urged the investigating agency to book the culprit as per the law of the land. Terming the murder inflicted upon his wife as “gruesome and heinous in nature and pre-planned” the Ekhung demanded that befitting punishment and imprisonment for life be awarded to Logvusen. PTE further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family to grant solace at this difficult time.
Meanwhile, in a separate condemnation note, late Abon Logwenga siblings, family of Logvuseng Kent son of late Kegwalo Kent of Tsenminyu village flayed the “heinous act of their son in murdering his own wife” Lucy Kent.
The family members termed said that act was beyond human imagination and foreign to the culture. They conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
CHK: Chakhesang Hoho Kohima (CHK) has condemned the “heinous crime” allegedly committed by a law enforcing agency, Thajakolie Meyase constable MT on December 24, 2022 in Kohima. In a condemnation note, CHK president, Theja Therieh and secretary publicity, Medo Chirha stated that crime committed by the “savage husband” of Khrutalu Meyase has put every peace loving citizens to shame and deserve no sympathy. CKH appaeled to the prosecution and the police to expedite the legal process and award befitting punishment. The Hoho said that it will not compromise with the authorities for any negligence or leniency that may led to granting of bail or interference in the process of justice delivery. CHK also lauded Naga Hospital authority and South Police Station for their timely and appropriate steps.
