Tovihoto Aye condoles: MLA and chairman NIDC Ltd., Tovihoto Aye in a condolence note has expressed deep shock at the untimely demise of late K. Kakiye Zhimomi, head GB of Kughato village under Kuhuboto. Tovihoto described late Kakiye as an efficient village headman and able man to whom the mass looked up with confidence in his leadership. MLA said that in the demise of Kakiye, the Sumi community and the Naga people have lost a tall leader whose absence would be hugely felt and his contributions to the society would remain in the memories of the people for a long time.
MLA further conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and pray to Almighty for granting them strength and solace to overcome the loss and that the departed soul rest in peace.
KGPO: Khuhuboto Ghakhu Public Organisation (KGPO) expressed its grief at the untimely demise of late Kakiye Zhimo head G.B of Kughato village at his residence on December 27, 2015.
A condolence message by KGPO general secretary, Z. Ato stated that late Kakiye Zhimo was the former president of KGPO and also the president of Sumi youth Front. It stated that his demise has brought a great vacuum not only to the area but Western Sumi in general. The KGPO salutes his works, deeds and sacrifices he had made for the people of Khuhuboto area and would be always remembered. KGPO further convey its heartfelt condolences to his family members and pray for his soul to rest in eternal peace.
WSH: Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) has expressed shock at the sudden demise of Western Sumi Youth Front (WSYF) president late Kakiye Zhimomi. The hoho described late Zhimomi as a great leader who had concern for Sumi youth and Nagas in general and lamented that his demise has created a vacuum in the society. WSH further prayed to Almighty to grant solace and comfort to the bereaved family and the departed soul to rest in peace.
YAN: Youth Association of Nagaland (YAN) has mourned the demise of late K. Kakiye Zhimomi (president, Western Sumi Youth Forum) and head GB Kughato village. A condolence message by YAN president Hetoi Chishi and general secretary Zhalie Chuzo described late Kakiye as a visionary leader who had immensely contributed towards bettering the society in various capacities. He was also the president of Kuhuboto Area Public Organisation in 2002-2003 and 2013-2015. YAN expressed that his death has created great loss especially for the younger generation and the association pray to the almighty God to give solace to the bereaved family in these hours of grief and that the departed soul rest in peace.
WYH: Western Yimchunger Hoho (WYH) is shocked to learn about the untimely demise of late Kakiye Zhimo head G.B of Kughato village, who was also the president of Western Sumi Youth Front.
Hoho in a condolence message by secretary information and publicity, Lakiu Kips also expressed shock to learn of the sudden demise of late Shokhum Yimchunger retd. DYSP, Asst. to Chairman Cease fire monitoring cell on December 28 at his residence at Diphupar, Dimapur.
Hoho described both as great leaders, who had sacrificed a lot for the upliftment of the society. Their demise is a huge lost for the Nagas and their contribution for the people would always be remembered, it stated.
WYH also conveyed its deepest condolence to both the bereaved family and pray that the departed souls rest in eternal peace.
ENPO CEC, SHAMATOR: The central executive council member ENPO and former vice president YTC, Yanba Showuba has deeply mourned the demise of late I. Shokum Yimchungrü, (Retd.DSP) Ceasefire Monitoring Cell, who breathed his last on Monday. Yanba described late Shokum as a man of great responsibility towards the upliftment of society and his death has created a vacuum which would be difficult to fill. Yanba further conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed that God grant them solace and for the departed soul to rest in peace.
YAA: Yimchunger Akherü Arihako (YAA) expressed shock at the sudden demise of late Shokum Yimchunger on December 28. In a condolence message by YAA president Akiuba TS and general secretary Shikiula regretted that his untimely demise has deprived the Yimchunger community in particular and Nagas’ in general of a leader. It described him as a sincere, dedicated and generous leader who was liked and loved by the common people for his endeavor in various capacities. He served as the assistant to chairman Ceased Fire Monitoring Group(CSMG) and Retired Dy.SP. He also served as the advisor to Eastern Nagaland Peoples Union Diphupar.
Further YAA prayed that the Almighty God would provide solace to the departed soul and conveyed its deepest heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
