NPCC president: Nagaland Pradesh Congress committee (NPCC) president K. Therie has expressed shock at the demise of late Velaho Puro of Kikrüma who passed away on July 29. In a condolence note he said that late Puro has been a strong believer of Congress’ ideologies and principles and associated with Congress through the most difficult times in shaping Nagaland State. He further said that late Puro was the first champion of Nagaland wresting meet and had associated with the Wrestling Association for a long period in building the game till present day. He lamented that he had lost a friend and a councillor and stated that NPCC would acknowledged his meaningful life. Therie further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members, for strength and comfort to overcome the difficult time and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
