NPCC president: Nagaland Pradesh Congress committee (NPCC) president K. Therie has expressed shock at the demise of late Velaho Puro of Kikrüma who passed away on July 29. In a condolence note he said that late Puro has been a strong believer of Congress’ ideologies and principles and associated with Congress through the most difficult times in shaping Nagaland State. He further said that late Puro was the first champion of Nagaland wresting meet and had associated with the Wrestling Association for a long period in building the game till present day.  He lamented that he had lost a friend and a councillor and stated that NPCC would acknowledged his meaningful life. Therie further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members, for strength and comfort to overcome the difficult time and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
SSUDGC: Sumi Students’ Union of Dimapur Government College (SSUDGC) has expressed shock at the sudden demise of associate professor, commerce department, Dr. Chandan Debnath.  In a condolence note SSUDGC said the demise is an irreparable loss to the family of Dimapur Government College. It further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members.
SCDGC: Students’ Council Dimapur Government College (SCDGC) has mourned the demise of associate professor commerce department, Dr. Chandan Debnath.  In a condolence note SCDGC has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NTSK: Nagaland Tamil Sangam Kohima (NTSK) has expressed profound grief and deep shock at the sudden demise of one of its community members Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. NTSK said in the death of Dr. Kalam, India has lost a true son of soil and the union would miss him forever. The union has conveyed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed that the great soul rest in peace.
