DCC Dimapur: District Congress Committee (DCC) Dimapur said it was sadden by the demise of I Pihoto Awomi former DMC member and social worker who despite of his huge personal responsibility had worked tirelessly for the welfare of all community without any political affiliation. In a condolence note, DCC Dimapur said his death had created a big vacuum in Dimapur in particularly and the state in general. District Congress Committee further conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved wife and family and prayed for the departed soul rest in peace.
SKUD: Sapotimi Kughuko Union Dimapur (SKUD) in a condolence note by its president Vitoho Chophy has expressed deep shock and grief over the sudden demise of its member late Pihoto Awomi. SKUD described late Pihoto as a tall leader, who had always stood for the welfare and uplift of the union. Stating that the demise of late Pihoto has created a vacuum in the union, SKUD extended deepest condolences to the bereaved family and pray that his soul rest in peace.
DDSC: Dimapur District Sports Council (DDSC) said it was saddened on the untimely death of I Pihoto Awomi, member DDSC on the night of December 30, 2015 after a brief illness. In a condolence message District Sports Officer and general secretary DDSC, Nyuvitho Nyuthe described late Pihoto as a sportsman of repute during his younger days and his involvement in the administration of sports bodies would be missed by all.
In his demise, the entire Dimapur District Sports Council has lost a very loyal friend and a valued member and the void created would be difficult to fill.
While expressing deepest condolences to the bereaved family members, DDSC also prayed to the Almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
