Condolence messages on demise of late Z Hozheto Chophy

Several originations have conveyed condolences at the demise of NPGN/NNC ato kilonser and co-convenor, WC NNPGs, Z Hozheto Chophy, who passed away on March 27 after prolonged illness.
GPRN/NSCN: The collective leadership of ‘Gen. (Retd.)’ M.B. Neokpao Konyak, president and N.Kitovi Zhimomi, ato kilonser along with all the members of GPRN/NSCN has expressed deep grief and sadness over the sudden demise of late Z.Hozheto Chophy.
In a condolence message, GPRN/NSCN said late Hozheto was a proficient and upright leader who served as head master during his earlier career and continued to serve as general secretary and president of Western Sumi Hoho later before dedicating himself for the “Naga national service”.
GPRN/NSCN said late Hozheto was a principled man with great influences who had inspired the Naga people with his sheer dedication and responsibility in every field he was associated with.
“His outstanding leadership and discharge of responsibilities in various capacities in the field of political and social activities would be very much cherished in days to come”, read the message.
Besides being instrumental in strengthening his tribesmen, GPRN/NSCN said late Hozheto was a veteran “Naga national leader” who conveyed the reality of various realm of the society and commits for the unity and welfare of the Naga people.
GPRN/NSCN said it was profoundly honoured and revered upon late Z.Hozheto Chophy who had nonchalantly served for the society and the “Naga nation” with genuine concern and dedication till his last breath. It said his demise is a great loss and deeply felt by GPRN/NSCN in particular and the Naga society for whom he had made many remarkable social and political contributions during his lifetime. Extending deepest sorrow and homage to the dear leader, GPRN/NSCN has conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty God to grant solace in this grief time, and for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
NNC/GDRN (N.A): NNC/GDRN (N.A) has expressed shock at the demise of late Z Hozheto Chophy, a man of principle and integrity. In a condolence message, NNC/GDRN (N.A) said in his demise, Nagas have lost a very tall leader and a true warrior, who gave his everything for the cause of the Nagas.
NNC/GDRN (N.A) said late Hozheto’s selfless sacrifices and valuable contribution for the “national cause” would ever be embellish in the annals of “Naga Nation.” In his demise, NNC/GDRN (N.A) said the people have lost not only encyclopaedia of wisdom, but also a fatherly figure. Further, NNC/GDRG (N.A) has conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members, relatives and near and dear ones.
It prayed that the Lord Almighty God would give the strength and courage to the bereaved family, and the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
NSCN (Niki): NSCN/GPRN has expressed sadness over the demise of Z. Hozheto Chophy, a man of principle with integrity and truthfulness who worked for the cause and the right of the Naga people with all sincerity and dedication. In a condolence message, NSCN/GPRN said late Hozheto was a very soft spoken yet high in spirit and used his wisdom to lead the people. NSCN/GPRN said it honours the Naga leader for his selfless and valuable contributions rendered towards the cause of the Naga people and which shall remain etched in annals of the nation. Further, NSCN/GPRN has expressed heartfelt condolences and prayed for solace of the bereaved family members, and for eternal rest of the departed soul.
NGBF: Nagaland Gaon Bura Federation (NGBF) has expressed sadness to learn about the sudden demise of Z. Hozheto Chophi, head GB Hozheto Village. In a condolence message, NGBF said late Hozheto in his life time served the public in various capacities, as a students’ leader, headed the GBs organisation, tribal hoho and dedicated his life for the Naga political struggle till his last breath.
In his demise, NGBF said Nagas have lost a great leader whose life was completely dedicated for public services, and that the vacuum created by his departure would be deeply felt.
Further, NGBF has conveyed deepest sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, and for the departed soul to rest well till the saviour comes.
