CMA: Chakhesang mothers’ association (CMA) has mourned the demise of late Velahu Puro of Kikruma village and acknowledged the deceased in the field of sports and society in general. A condolence message by CMA stated that late Velahu was not only a great wrestler but also known for his kindness and humbleness. Further, CMA has prayed for God’s favour and solace over the bereaved family.
PTSU appeals
DIMAPUR: Pungro Town Students’ Union (PTSU) has appealed the power department for the immediate installation of the new transformer at Pungro sub-division at the earliest. PTSU lamented that the area has been without electricity for the past one week and was in total darkness following the damage of the transformer. The union said the concern department has done nothing and no alternative arrangement was made so far and the general public especially the student community are facing problem.
