More organizations have offered their condolences on the demise of NSCN (I-M) vice-chairman, Gen (retd) Khole Konyak who passed away in New Delhi on December 12.
ENPUD: Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Union Dimapur (ENPUD) has expressed pain and anguish over the demise of NSCN (I-M) vice chairman Khole Konyak.
The union said it feels that the demise of Khole is a great loss for Nagas and the vacuum left behind will never be filled. The union stated that his dedication and self-less sacrifices for the Nagas will never be forgotten, and further offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that God Almighty will provide comfort, peace, strength and serenity during this hour of pain.
EKU: Eastern Konyak Union (EKU), in a condolence message, expressed shock and sorrow at the demise of late Khole Konyak, vice chairman of NSCN/GPRN. EKU stated that late Kholi always inspired and encouraged people and stood for unbiased Naga sovereignty. It expressed hope that his footprints will bear good fruits in the future. EKU further offered condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the good Lord would strengthen them.
ZYON: Zeme Youth Organization Nagaland (ZYON) in a condolence message stated that the vacuum left behind by the demise of late Gen (retd) Kholi Konyak will be hard to fill and Nagas will miss a leader who had dedicated decades of his life for the right cause. ZYON extended condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
