Condolences over demise of Rev. Mankup Konyak

Minister of transport, LRD, P. Paiwang Konyak and others have mourned the demise of Rev. L. Mankup Konyak who passed away on April 7, 2021 at Tamlu village.  

Expressing grief over the demise of the late reverend, the minister said that the contributions of late Rev. L. Mankup Konyak to the Konyak community in the area of Church ministry as well as socio-cultural field would be remembered.
While conveying his condolence to the bereaved family members, the minister prayed to the Almighty to give solace to the family to bear the loss. 
KSU: Konyak Students’ Union (KSU) in a condolence note through its president T Noklem Konyak and general secretary A Pangnan said that the late reverend was “a great liberator for the Konyak community” and immensely contributed towards the uplifting and developing the Konyak society. 
“He was the man of eminent personality and lived an exemplary life whose legacy will always remain in the history and progress of our community,” it stated. 
Further, KSU shared conveyed its condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for its great leader’s soul to rest in eternal peace.
KU: Konyak Union (KU) while expressing grief over the demise of the late reverend stated that he was the “first pioneer and visionary of undying faith and a true soldier of Christ Jesus.”
In a condolence note through its media cell, KU said that the late reverend tirelessly sacrificed his time and commitment towards bringing the entire Konyak community under Christian faith.
The union said that the Konyak community was blessed in its journey towards God’s grace and faithfulness through his dedicated vision and commitment.
KU stated that in his demise, the Konyak community lost “a true committed son of the soil leader” who can never be replaced.
Further, the union conveyed its condolences to his bereaved family members and prayed that God would give them strength as his soul rests in peace.
It also prayed that the Konyak community would always cherish the legacy and services that was selflessly rendered and would follow the foot prints of his love and undying sacrifices.
