Cong Dmu-II & III A/C appeal revocation of suspension

Assembly Constituency Congress Committee (ACCC) of Dimapur-II and Dimapur-III have appealed to the District Congress Committee (DCC), Dimapur to revoke the suspension of Dimapur-II and Dimapur-III Assembly Constituency Congress party organization.
In a joint statement, S.I. Tangit, president ACCC Dimapur-II and Wati Walling, president ACCC Dimapur-III stated that organization of the two assembly constituencies was never involved in any anti-Congress party activities whatsoever or disobeyed the AICC and NPCC order with regards to party discipline and principles.
Tangit said he had clarified to the Congress party higher ups that the intention of the signature campaign of the Dimapur-II A/C party workers was solely to show the strength and unity of the party within the constituency and not for any other motive against the interest of the party.
Wati also clarified on the rumor of Youth Congress of Dimapur-III conducting signature campaign. He refuted saying the youth congress of Dimapur-III never conducted a signature campaign of any kind nor involved in anti-party activities.
The two ACCC presidents asserted that the Congress party as a whole of two assembly constituencies have upheld the ideology and principles of the party and would continue to do so.
They maintained that there were some vested interest individuals who were trying to create confusion and misunderstanding between the party high level and those at the Assembly Constituency level.
