Consumer awareness prog held in Mon

Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection in collaboration with IQAC Wangkhao Govt. College (WGC) Mon organized a consumer awareness programme on September 11, at WGC with EAC Mon Hq. Er. R Mhao Humtsoe, as special guest. The awareness programme was held under the theme, “Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection: The jouney towards Viksit Bharat 2047”. A press release by WGC stated that Humtsoe on his speech emphasized on Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and elaborated on Consumer Rights, to be legally protected and to stay empowered with fast pace changing world.
Sr. Inspector LMCP, Er. Nganyei Konyak, spoke on the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and highlighted the department’s functions.
He further pointed that it is the individual who should take initiatives to make take the goals of developed, empowered and inclusiveness successful.
