Longleng District Task Force (LDTF) held coordination meeting for its members on June 1, at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Longleng. DC Longleng, John Tsulise Sangtam chaired the programme and exhorted the members to re-dedicate themselves towards the cause of uplifting the status of women in the district. According to DIPR, while welcoming the newly recruited staff of district level centre for women, Mahila Shakti Kendra Longleng, the DC asserted that their main function was to provide a foothold for BBBP as well as to bridge the gap between various levels of the district and to ensure filtration of various schemes at its level. The meeting was attended by members of the District Task Force and heads of different schools and institutions under Longleng.
