5 Tribes Committee on Review of Reservation Policy (CoRRP) has reaffirmed its earlier resolution adopted on August 9, to abstain from all government meetings, events and functions until further notice. CoRRP convenor Er. Tesinlo Semy and member secretary GK Zhimomi said all five apex tribal bodies, along with their respective frontal organisations and constituent units, have been advised to strictly adhere to and enforce the resolution within their jurisdictions. CoRRP also informed that the five apex bodies would not participate in the coordination meeting convened by the department of Tourism on August 18. It also said that any other meetings, events/functions organised by the state government- at either the state or district level- would not be attended until the government responded positively to the demands submitted to the chief secretary on August 9, 2025.
