With an aim to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, sensitisation and vaccination was organised in Zunheboto and Phek districts.
Sensitisation & vaccination at Ghukiye Village: Medical team from Chief Medical Officer (CMO) office Zunheboto organised several sensitisation sessions and door to door vaccination at Ghukiye village under Satakha Block, Zunheboto wherein 128 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated.
Vaccination-cum-awareness at Phek town: Phek battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters of Inspector General of Assam Rifles (IGAR-North) in collaboration with District Task Force (DTF) Phek organised a COVID vaccination-cum-awareness driveon June 27 at Phek Town.
According to Assam Rifles, the vaccination drive was carried out under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Phek, Razouvolie Dozo and medical team of Phek Battalion. During the drive, a total of 229 eligible beneficiaries were vaccinated.
