COVID-19 SOP in Nagamese launched

Deputy commissioner Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan on August 16 launched the Nagamese version of COVID-19 SOP on “COVID-19 containment and management” issued by the ministry of panchayati raj for Peri-urban, rural and tribal areas, in a function at the conference hall of the DC.

According to a DIPR report, DC in his speech said that providing copies of the SOP in a local dialect might seem small but would go a long way in educating the masses, particularly in the rural areas.
He extended his appreciation to District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Dimapur for the innovative and life-changing work.
Meanwhile in his welcome address, project director Kethosituo expressed gratitude to the PO, DRDA and all staff who were involved in the translation.
He also stated that the SOP was tuned by the ministry of panchayati raj which was originally issued by the ministry of health & family welfare.
The function was attended by officials and staff of DRDA Dimapur led by project director, Kethosituo Sekhose and officials of district administration along with the ADC Dimapur.
Earlier, DRDA Dimapur also provided DTF Dimapur with oxygen concentrator, PPE suits and N95 masks in a bit to assist them in the fight against COVID.
