COVID surge: DC Dimapur distributes face masks

Taking serious note of the surge in COVID-19 cases, deputy commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Sachin Jaiswal Tuesday visited several market places under Dimapur district and distributed masks besides educating the masses.
According to a DIPR report, during the visits Sachin distributed masks to the street vendors, shopkeepers, auto drivers, and pedestrians who were without masks.
Urging the citizens to follow COVID appropriate behaviour, the DC said, henceforth, wearing masks would be mandatory. He also urged all eligible persons to get their booster doses.
DC Dimapur was accompanied by administrative officers and the GBs who made the announcements about COVID-19 guidelines at strategic locations.
