A special COVID-19 vaccination drive was carried out Sunday at Kiphire town by the District Task Force Kiphire in collaboration with Assam Rifles Kiphire battalion.
In a short speech, Deputy Commission (DC) Kiphire T Wati Aier appreciated the medical staff and Assam Rifles Kiphire battalion for their efforts to vaccinate citizens of the district.
While emphasising on the importance of COVID-19 vaccine, Aier also highlighted the vaccination status of the districts and appealed the citizens to dispel rumours and create awareness about the benefits of vaccine.
