CoVSc & AH students tour to Dimul Milk Plant

In a bid to provide students with practical insights into the dairy industry and broaden their understanding of milk production processes, the Veterinary College’s third-year students undertook an educational tour to the Dimul Milk Plant.


The tour was led under the guidance of the dean, I. Shakuntala with an aim to familiarize students with the intricate operations of a milk processing facility.


24 students of third-year and accompanied by faculty members Dr Kevimese Khate and Dr Raghubir Singh of departments of LPT & VPE respectively along with TA Gaurav Saxena were part of the tour team. Dr Vikovor Nipu, Manager, Quality Control welcomed the students to Dimul. The students also toured the milk reception area, processing units, quality control laboratories, packaging section, and distribution centres.
