College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (CoVSc& AH) Jalukie celebrated Jai Kisan Jai Vigyan Week 2024 to educate farmers on the importance of scientific farming methods especially integrated farming systems.
A press release by CoVSc& AH stated that professor, Dr SK Borthakur highlighted the different aspects of integrated farming systems, while assistant professor, Dr Ksh. Mahesh Singh, provided insights into the livestock conservation, stressing the importance of different animal breeds and species.
The release added that the event was concluded with vote of thanks by Assistant Professor, Dr Amrit Gogoi, along with mineral and multivitamin mixtures distribution to the farmers.
A total of 38 farmers were attended this event and benefitted with the distribution.
