CP for strict compliance of lockdown norms

Commissioner of Police, Dimapur R. Tetseo has directed the district police force to ensure strict compliance of lockdown measures in place in Dimapur district.

CP said that many shops/business establishments were open even after 2 p.m., violating the government standing order. CP also noted that there has been an increase in movement of non-essential traffic after 2 p.m. 

In this regard, CP, in an order, directed all ACPs division/OCs PS to ensure that no shops/business establishments remain open after 2 p.m. in their respective jurisdictions.

Further, all ACPs division/ACP (Trf)-I & II, OCs PS- Traffic-I & II have been directed to regulate/restrict all non-essential traffic movement after 2 p.m. Police personnel have also been asked to setup traffic barricades at major traffic intersections after 2p.m. 

DCP Traffic/DCP Zone-I & II will monitor and ensure strict compliance, in coordination with the District Magistrate having jurisdiction, CP Dimapur stated.
