Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) has expressed shock at the untimely demise of Chokriveyi Venyo, former NSF president and former CPO press secretary 2009-2011, who breathed his last at Zion hospital, Dimapur on March 30. The condolence message from CPO general secretary, Miitsivoyi Kotso described late Chokriveyi Venyo as a committed and sincere leader who had selflessly rendered his services toward the Chakhesang community in particular and Nagas in general and stated that his demise was a great loss that created a huge vacuum that would be hard to fill. CPO further conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
