Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO) expressed sincere gratitude to Commissioner of Police (CP), Dimapur Kevithuto Sophie, and all officers and personnel for their hard work and concern for the citizen of Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland districts during the recently concluded Urban Local Body (ULB) election held on June 26.
CPO president Zhato Kimho in a press release said the organisation had never seen such a peaceful election to date in Dimapur. CPO said that Dimapur Police under the guidance and leadership of Sophie had done an exemplary service for the Nagas’ future.
Despite minor incidents in some polling stations, CPO acknowledged that the police managed the crowd effectively, allowing the genuine voters to exercise their franchise peacefully. Saluting CP and his team for their conduct, CPO wished them good and long life, praying to God to give them more wisdom for doing more justice in the days to come.
