CRBC holds annual meet, resolves

The Council of Rengma Baptist Churches (CRBC) held its 68th Annual Meeting from January 25 to 27, at K. Station Baptist Church under the theme “Let us rebuild- word and Prayer”.

A press release from Council of Rengma Baptist Churches executive secretary Haiwalo Apon stated that 42 constituent member Churches and a fellowship member adopted some resolutions: that Churches under CRBC submit themselves to draw closer to God through the reading of His Holy word-the Bible; to commit themselves under His authority and place petitions and supplication through prayers in homes and Churches; to promote oneness and unity in Christ as individuals and Churches visible through forgiveness of sin and repentance to restore brokenness in homes, Churches and society through the word of God.
The meeting also acknowledged the gift of human sexuality as man and woman true to the human calling, and resolved that they shall, in no way, endorse same sex marriage “an abomination before God and the state of human depravity in need of redemption.”
The council appreciated and thanked all Church leaders for the unwavering support and co-operation rendered towards the CRBC ministry.
The council also extended its sincere gratitude to K. Station Baptist Church for successfully hosting the 68th Annual Meeting of the Council of Rengma Baptist Churches.
