Directorate of Health & Family Welfare (DHFW) inaugurated a Creche (Child Play Room) at the erstwhile National Health Project (NHP) premises here, with retired Mission Director, NHM, Dr. Akuo Sorhie, and retired director, DHFW, Dr. Vezokholu Theyo, gracing the occasion as special guests.
Delivering the opening remarks, principal director, DHFW, Dr. Mereninla Senlem, expressed satisfaction over the successful launch of the long-anticipated facility, stating that the initiative was undertaken to support staff welfare and provide a safe space for children.
The programme was chaired by NHM Mission Director, Dr. Avile Zao, while the benediction was pronounced by Dr. Vezokholu Theyo. The Creche is expected to enhance workplace inclusivity and provide much-needed support for working parents within the department.
