The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Kohima range organised a special plantation drive and distribution of COVID care items at Kendriya Vidyalaya School Compound, Kohima on Saturday.
The programme was initiated under the effort of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) (OPS) Kohima CRPF.
Additional Director General (ADG) Northeast zone, CRPF Guwahati Sanjeev Ranjan Ojha as the chief planted a tree followed by distributing the COVID kits to the gathering in the presence of Inspector General (IG) Manipur and Nagaland sector CRPF, M.S. Shekhawar who was the guest of honour.
All the officials present each planted one tree.
Shyamchand De, DIGP, CRPF Kohima led the function.
The function was attended by Anju Ojha, President, Central Wife Welfare Association, Northeast zone CRPF Guwahati, Manmohan Shekhawar, President Central Wife Welfare Association Manipur and Nagaland sector and Arshiya Ojha, social reformer.
