78 Bn CRPF Zubza, Kohima organized a civic action program on December 27, with Sarbjit Singh, DIG (OPS) CRPF, Kohima as chief guest.
A press release from 78 Bn CRPF Zubza, Kohima, stated that the chief guest inaugurated the medical camp and distributed medical amenities/medicines for disabled/ill residents of the villages. Ram Chandra, second-in-command (commandant-AOL) also expressed immense pleasure and joy on being able to organize the civic action program.
78 Bn CRPF organizes such programs every year and commandant (AOL) in his speech asserted his gratitude to the villagers of Sechu Zubza block and neighboring villages for their extended co-operation and for the cordial relationship.
CRPF provided seven wheel chairs and 23 walking sticks to needy people and around 300 villagers were given treatment. Doctors were Suderson Baniya Chhetri (GDMO) 78 Bn and Ngasepam Kheroda Debi (GDMO) 173 Bn. Vote of thanks was extended by Anil Kumar Jha, 2-I/C for the CRPF and by Aatu, president, youth organization Sechu Zubza.
