CRPO calls for entrepreneurship and local production

DIMAPUR: In a significant step towards strengthening community bonding, the Chozuba Range Public Organization (CRPO) held its general session on September 12 at Sülüho and Lhüprüve Memorial Hall, Vethozho, Chozuba Town.
According to a press release, president of Phek District Sports Association (PDSA), Nezosa Tetseo, addressing the gathering as resource person, urged the people to broaden their mindset, uphold justice with equal yardstick, and strive for self sufficiency through promotion of local production and new economic initiatives.
He strongly encouraged educated youths, particularly those confined as “keyboard warriors” with a VIP mindset, to step out of their comfort zones, explore new avenues and venture into entrepreneurship. Tetseo also mooted the idea of a Weekly Bazaar featuring local produce and organic vegetables, to be spearheaded either by the Chozuba Town Council or the CRPO.
The session was attended by Village Council chairmen and members, Head GBs and GBs, VDB secretary and member, Women Society presidents and member, and Chozuba Town Council chairperson and councillor. The programme concluded with closing remarks by Rüsangoyi Medeo, joint secretary, CRPO.
