CS inaugurates NFR stall at Kisama

Chief secretary Nagaland, J. Alam inaugurated the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) exhibition stall at the Hornbill Festival at Kisama on Thursday. A press release from chief public relations officer NFR, Guneet Kaur informed that the North East Frontier Railway’s unique stall was inaugurated in the presence of general manager of NFR, Anshul Gupta who was also the chief guest of Thursday’s cultural programme at the Festival.

The NFR’s presentation depicts modernisation of Indian railways with ongoing rail connectivity works in the North Eastern region. Many informative writeups and railway models are also being displayed in the exhibition which has gained a large number of visitors. A PRS counter is also opened at the exhibition to facilitate railway passengers and the local populace.
