CS-led delegation inspects SIHM Dimapur

Chief Secretary Dr. J. Alam led a delegation to inspect the State Institute of Hotel Management (SIHM) in Dimapur, aiming to assess its hospitality standards on May 30.
The delegation included DC Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang; SDO (C) Wiridin; Deputy Secretary, Namang Sepong Chang; J.E Roko; Additional Director of Tourism, T. Kakihe Sumi; Deputy Director of Tourism, Kakishe K. Zhimo; Sr. HA, T. Khonak Konyak; and Senior Tourist Officer, Keholeno Kennao.
During the visit, SIHM Dimapur principal Deepak Srivastava briefed the officials on the institute’s academic and training infrastructure. The delegation praised the well-maintained and professionally designed facilities, highlighting SIHM’s dedication to quality hospitality education.
The officials recognized SIHM Dimapur as a pioneering institution in the state’s hospitality sector. They commended its consistent efforts and noted its potential for further growth.
Expressing their willingness to collaborate, the delegation pledged support in promoting SIHM’s programs through government websites and social media. They viewed the visit as a step toward strengthening ties between the institute and the state administration.
