CSIR-NEIST organise symposium

CSIR-North East Institute of Science & Technology (NEIST) and Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), in collaboration with Kohima Science College, Jotsoma (KSC) on June 23 organised a one-day symposium on “Chemical Education in Self Reliance: A Global Perspective” at KSC conference hall.
In a press release, it informed that Principal scientist, CSIR-NEIST, Dr. Ravindra K Rawal and principal, KSCJ, Dr. Lily Sema delivered short speeches on behalf of the organizers. During the technical session, Professor C. V. Sastri from IIT-Gauhati also delivered a comprehensive lecture.
The symposium was attended by various eminent scientists from across the country who also presented their research works. Research scholars from Nagaland also presented their papers.
Earlier, welcome address was delivered by Professor Amrit Puzari of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Nagaland while vote of thanks was proposed by principal scientist, CSIR-NEIST, Dr. Pranjal Gogoi.
